Oh I do like to be beside the seaside....

In June last year I was fortunate enough to land a wildcard place for the Blackpool heat situated at the Pleasure Beach. We certainly had four seasons in one day, and I met some great people - it was alot of fun despite being very nerve-wracking. I got to meet all the judges and chat with the lovely Steven Mangan, and my only sadness for the day was not getting a chance to meet Dame Joan Bakewell. Still, a good day , even though I didn't really like my painting - I was too anxious to concentrate, not to mention having cameras over my shoulder and famous people wandering around staring at me, lol .
