Playing with perspective and vanishing points for a new commission, having already completed my very first ever piece. Unfortunately It's for a special birthday so I can't give any sneak peeks, but I'm really happy with the outcome. Here's hoping number two is successful and doesn't take too many attempts.

I've recently joined a Plein Air group to get painting out of doors and up my skill set. It's a whole different ball game, with so man factors to contend with that just don't come into play in the studio. Great fun though, and an excuse to escape for the day to some beautiful locations. This is a shot of my pochade set up out on the now repaired Culross Pier in December 2021. A bright beautiful day but a rather chilly 3 degrees C!!!
